Irregular Verbs

Every language has it's quirks, things that make the language unsusual and/or hard to use. One of the 'quirks' of English is the amount of commonly used irregular verbs. Irregular verbs are defined as any verb that does not follow the normal pattern of conjugation (the inflection of the verb according to the tense).

In English, the normal pattern of conjugation is to simply ad -ed to the end of a verb. But, English uses a fair amount of irregular verbs, meaning, verbs that do not follow this pattern.
